A 73 year old female had a suspected ischaemic stroke three days ago. A CT head scan was done 2 hours after onset of symptoms but came back inconclusive. She was on warfarin and was not suitable for thrombolysis. She has remained on the stroke ward for observation and is taking aspirin 300mg od. A few hours ago she began behaving strangely whilst sitting in her chair. She was kicking her right leg and throwing her right arm out to the side. How should this be investigated?
