A 3-year-old boy presents to A&E with a dry mouth and excessive vomiting. He has been complaining of pain in his right loin and his mother has noted that his nappies have been relatively dry for the past few days. Abdominal examination reveals a flank mass and urine dipstick shows the presence of blood. Ultrasound reveals an enlarged left kidney.
