A 23-year-old man and his mother attend a GP appointment. His mum is very concerned about him, as over the past month he has been increasingly secluded, locking himself away in his bedroom and staying up into the early hours of the morning working on what he describes as his “great idea”. He refuses to tell you what this idea is, as he does not want you to steal it, but does tell you that the idea has been gifted to him by extraterrestrial species, who kidnapped him to “plant” the idea in his head. He also tells you that his head is “full” of voices racing through them, talking to him about his idea. He is speaking very quickly and maintaining little eye contact. His mother tells you that this change has been very recent.
