A 60-year old man presents to his GP with unilateral scrotal swelling and pain
A 60-year old man presents to his GP with unilateral scrotal swelling and pain, as well as dysuria and urinary frequency. He says this is the 3rd day of symptoms, and while he feels a little ‘under-the-weather’ he is generally well. He has not noticed any frank haematuria. He is a history teacher, non-smoker, and drinks around a bottle of wine a week. He lives with his wife, and has no other sexual partners. He is generally active, and enjoys swimming.
