A 21-year-old female presents with clinical features of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease. On examination of the abdomen, you notice a ‘Mercedes Benz’ bilateral rooftop scar. She confirms that she had a liver transplant in the first year of life for a genetic disease which made her jaundiced. Her mother is also affected.
