A 32-year-old female presents to rheumatology clinic with persistent pain, swelling and stiffness in her left knee and ankle, and right knee. She had been diagnosed with reactive arthritis 6 weeks ago and has been taking regular ibuprofen; however, this has failed to control her symptoms. In the past week, she has also noticed pain and redness in her right eye. She is now finding it increasingly difficult to carry out her daily tasks. She has a past medical history of irritable bowel syndrome, and is 12 weeks pregnant, but is otherwise fit and well.
