A 67-year-old male presents with a left-sided facial droop. He has an associated right-sided weakness along his upper and lower limbs. Sensory examination revealed an intact fine touch and proprioception sensation. Pain and temperature sensation was reduced on his right upper and lower limbs. He is unable to abduct his left eye on ocular movement examination. His corneal reflex is absent in his left eye.

An MRI confirms the presence of an ischaemic stroke as the cause of his symptoms.
