A 45-year-old male presents with a foot drop.

A 45-year-old male presents with a foot drop. He has recently fallen down a flight of stairs and has a cast over his left calf. He reports that the footdrop occurred several days after the cast was fitted. Sensory loss was also noted over the lateral aspect of the calf and dorsum of the foot. Weakness on the dorsiflexion of the left foot is also noted.
