A 13-year-old male presents to A&E with a hot swollen joint. Blood cultures and a joint aspirate are obtained which confirm septic arthritis. He is to be started on oral clindamycin as he is penicillin allergic. His weight is 30kg. As per trust guidance, the amount of  clindamycin required is 3mg/kg 4 times daily.
