A 6-month-old boy has been brought back to the GP by his parents.

A 6-month-old boy has been brought back to the GP by his parents. He has been struggling with reflux since he was born, he is often sick within half an hour of feeding. He has just started weaning, having multiple purees a day – but still has breast milk in the evening. He is not putting on as much weight as he should be. His weight is currently 6.5kg. He was delivered at 36 + 3 weeks vaginally but did not require any intensive care or extra treatment. He is up to date with his immunisations and has no developmental concerns. No known allergies.

Please prescribe an appropriate treatment.
