A 65-year-old man with known chronic kidney disease has been brought to ITU due to his recent blood results.

His recent potassium levels are 7.2 mmol/litre. His recent ECG shows tall tented T waves and his recent ABG showed a PaO2 of 6.8. The renal team have already commenced him on IV calcium gluconate.

Please prescribe the next appropriate management.
