Ethanol poisoning

Ethanol serum levels greater than 300mg/dl can induce coma, though frequent users often have high tolerances. Symptoms of poisoning include nystagmus, dysarthria, and ataxia. Treatment is supportive with special care for the airway, blood sugar level and prevention of hypothermia.
