He reports a history of diarrheal illness a fortnight ago. Transthoracic echocardiogram shows regional wall motion abnormalities. Coronary angiogram reveals patent coronary arteries. A CMR scan is consistent with acute myocarditis. He is being discharged and is keen to get back to playing football as soon as possible. What would you advise him regarding this?
