A 25-year-old female presents with new right-sided weakness of the upper and lower limbs. On examination she has multiple pigmented spots on the face, lips, and conjunctiva. She states these have been present since childhood, and her mother experienced a similar phenomenon up until her sudden death at age 29. She has previously had surgery to remove an adrenal tumour after experiencing Cushing’s syndrome in adolescence. She is a non-smoker and drinks minimal alcohol. As part of her work-up, an echocardiogram is performed, which demonstrates large mobile masses in the left atrium and left ventricle. What is the underlying diagnosis to explain the presentation?
