A 29-year-old lady who is 36 weeks pregnant presents with nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain

A 29-year-old lady who is 36 weeks pregnant presents with nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. She also complains of extreme thirst and headaches. On examination, she is clinically jaundiced with mild ankle swelling. And has a blood pressure of 180/110. Blood tests show Hb 110, WCC 16.1, platelets 150, bilirubin 100 and ALT 650. She reports having a takeaway a few weeks ago, which made both her and her husband suffer from diarrhoea and nausea, but has felt generally well since then.
