A 32-year-old woman presents with a 5-year history of itchy skin, particularly severe during winter. She reports frequent flare-ups, with some periods of relief. On examination, you notice dry, scaly skin with patches of red, inflamed areas predominantly on the insides of her elbows, backs of her knees, and around her neck. She has a family history of asthma and allergic rhinitis. There is no history of recent travel or new cosmetic product use.
