A 70-year-old female with a history of trigeminal neuralgia presents to the pain clinic

A 70-year-old female with a history of trigeminal neuralgia presents to the pain clinic. Despite trials of carbamazepine, topiramate and gabapentin her pain has not improved and is limiting her day to day activities. She has no other past medical history. Cranial nerve examination is normal. An MRI brain has been performed which has excluded intracranial masses or demyelination as the cause of her symptoms. She would like to know what other treatment options are available to her.

What would be the most appropriate next management step?
