A patient presents with 3 weeks of non-specific weight loss and abdominal pain
A patient presents with 3 weeks of non-specific weight loss and abdominal pain. Bloods are unremarkable aside from a normocytic anaemia. Ultrasound visualisation of the pancreas is inconclusive due to bowel overlying the pancreas. Computed Tomography eventually reveals a 1cm mass in the tail of the pancreas. It is decided by the multidisciplinary team to resect the tumour. Which procedure is most likely to be indicated in this patient?
