A 52-year-old man presents to his GP stating he has been suffering from frequent headaches for the past 9 months. On further questioning, he reveals he has also been suffering from joint pain for the same period of time, and he has stopped wearing his wedding ring as it no longer fits properly. On examination you note coarse facial features and frontal bossing. His blood pressure reading is 184/123mmHg. He has no other medical history and isn’t taking any medications.
