A patient with lung cancer is currently receiving treatment with the immune checkpoint inhibitor pembrolizumab

A patient with lung cancer is currently receiving treatment with the immune checkpoint inhibitor pembrolizumab. She has been troubled by a rash for 2 days. It started yesterday on her forearms but has since spread and now covers the whole of both arms, both legs and her chest and back. On examination, she has a widespread erythematous blistering skin rash, and you notice large areas of her skin is peeling away. The skin over her lips is also peeling, and you note multiple ulcers inside her mouth. She is febrile, with a temperature of 39.2 degrees Celsius, and appears unwell and in pain.
