An 18-year-old male presents with an episode of collapse. Since birth, he has always had hearing aids. He had no warning prior to his collapse. He is otherwise fit and well and does not take any regular medication.

A 12-lead ECG is performed and shows a ventricular rate of 60bpm and a prolonged QT interval.
