Mr Joe is a 35-year-old male who has come into the emergency department after a car accident. Mechanism was car vs tree at around 30mph. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time. He is currently conscious and there is no obvious evidence of head injury. On the primary survey there is shortness of breath and some chest pain which he admitted was likely due to his chest hitting the steering wheel relatively forcefully on impact with the tree. Secondary survey shows that he has some lower rib pain, but nil else of note. He has a background of a previous MI 5 years ago. His HR is 112 bpm, and blood pressure is found to be 89/52 mmHg. There are muffled heart sounds on auscultation, with jugular veins distended. Considering the diagnosis, what would you expect to see on the JVP waveform?
