Mrs Edwards is a 72-year-old woman who is currently being managed as an inpatient for a severe cellulitis affecting her left lower limb. She is currently being managed on a combination of teicoplanin and clindamycin due to being penicillin allergic. Due to the severity of her infection, it is likely that she will require a prolonged course of antibiotics.
