A 57-year-old male is found to have these fluid filled spots, developing in their mouth and around the face. The blisters are filled with fluid and are very easy to break. Over this week the blisters have been a lot more friable and easy to break. When they have broken the patient has been left with painful ulcers in their mouth. The pain and discomfort is becoming such that the patient cannot eat or drink much now. They are desperate to find out what the cause is.
