A 27-year-old woman presents to her GP with a 2-month history of a worsening itchy rash
A 27-year-old woman presents to her GP with a 2-month history of a worsening itchy rash on her elbows and abdomen. Initially the rash started on her elbows and was a small area of red itchy skin but now she states that the rash area is larger on her elbows and she has some areas on her scalp too. On examination, there are well demarcated erythematous patches affecting the elbows and scalp which appear to have a silver scale overlying the erythema. The scale bleeds when picked off.
