A 65-year-old lady presents to you with a right temporal headache

A 65-year-old lady presents to you with a right temporal headache and she complains of increased pain on chewing and on brushing her hair. She also reports pain in her neck and shoulders. On examination, there is marked tenderness of the scalp over the temporal regions and the temporal arteries appear thickened bilaterally and restricted movement of the right shoulder.
