A 33-year-old man presents with palpitations, described as an ‘odd rhythm’. He has also noticed some orthopnoea and dyspnoea on exercise. On asking about his past medical history he says he is generally well, however, did have a cold around 3 weeks ago, but has since recovered. He has no family history of cardiac disease. You decide to record a 12-lead ECG, which shows ST-segment elevation in the anterior leads, as well as an irregular rhythm.
