A man presents to his GP with an ingrown toenail. His GP notices that the patient’s eyes are different colours

A man presents to his GP with an ingrown toenail. His GP notices that the patient’s eyes are different colours, that the left pupil is relatively small compared to the right, that there is slight left eye ptosis, and that his left eye appears sunken. The man mentions that his eyes have appeared like this all his life but that he himself is not too bothered by it. As well as advice for his ingrown toenail what else should his GP do?
