A 42-year-old woman presents to A&E, having fallen from her horse

A 42-year-old woman presents to A&E, having fallen from her horse. She was wearing a riding helmet. She is complaining of pain in her left wrist, and a headache – she thinks she hit her head, as she lost consciousness for around a minute. Her daughter was with her at the time, and reported her to be drowsy and slurring her words. Whilst she was in an ambulance she became increasingly drowsy, and on assessment in A&E her GCS is 10/15. She has no meningism.
