A 93-year-old woman is brought to A&E by her carer (2)

A 93-year-old woman is brought to A&E by her carer. She has been complaining of a worsening headache over the past week, and her carer explains that she has seemed more tired than normal. A detailed history revealed that she had an unwitnessed fall around 4 weeks ago. Her past medical history includes dementia, atrial fibrillation, hypertension, and  type 2 diabetes mellitus. She has lived in a care home for the past 5 years. A CT head is done, which shows a moderately-sized unilateral chronic subdural haematoma. The patient is discussed with the neurosurgical team, who advise conservative management.

Which of the following is a contraindication for neurosurgical intervention in the management of chronic subdural haematomas?
