A 32-year-old woman is brought to her A&E by her partner. She gave birth to a healthy baby boy 2 weeks ago, and he is worried because over the past few days she has become very anxious and paranoid, and is concerned that the government plans on stealing their baby. They have their son with them, and the new mother is refusing to put him down to be examined. She has no psychiatric history, does not take any regular medications, and has no other medical conditions.
