A 32-year-old lady presents with painful periods

A 32-year-old lady presents with painful periods as she recently found out her friend has been seeing a doctor for a similar condition. The pain has been coming with every period since she was around 19 years old. Otherwise, she has been married for 5 years and has been trying for a child with her husband for the past year. On pelvic examination, there is no enlarged uterus, but point tenderness is found near the uterosacral ligaments.
