A 35-year-old lady has recurrent pelvic pain during her periods

A 35-year-old lady has recurrent pelvic pain during her periods. She has tried NSAIDs and hormonal therapy at optimal doses, with only mild improvement in her symptoms, but she is still functionally limited when the pain comes. She otherwise has no other symptoms and her investigations have come up negative. She has also declined second-line therapies given the high cost.
