A 77-year-old woman attends a GP appointment, reporting problems with her sight

A 77-year-old woman attends a GP appointment, reporting problems with her sight. She describes that over the past two months, she has noticed a gradual decline in her vision. She first noticed that she was having trouble watching the television with the lights dimmed, and then that she was struggling to make out the screen even with the lights turned all the way up. Now she is finding that her vision is blurred when reading the newspaper and that the lines appear to “wiggle”. She had her last eye test around six months ago.
