A 28-year-old male presents to the clinic with a painless ulcer on his genitalia.

A 28-year-old male presents to the clinic with a painless ulcer on his genitalia. He reports that the ulcer appeared about three weeks after having unprotected sexual intercourse. On examination, the ulcer is clean, round, and approximately 1cm in diameter. There is non-tender swelling of the inguinal lymph nodes. The patient reports no known drug allergies.
