Non diabetic hyperglycaemia

Non-diabetic hyperglycaemia includes two conditions:


Impaired fasting glycaemia (IFG): refers to a fasting glucose level of between 6.1mmol/L and 6.9mmol/L. Impaired glucose tolerance (IGT): refers to a glucose level of between 7.8mmol/L and 11.1mmol/L after a 75g oral glucose tolerance test.
