A 19-year-old female from South Africa attended the hospital with chest pains. Her chest pain was central without radiation. She had accompanying shortness of breath. She did not have any fevers and denied any sputum produced. She has asthma but denies that this is like her previous asthma exacerbations.
She recalls her mother telling her that she experienced swollen fingers during infancy, with the affected fingers feeling hot. She is tachypnoeic with a SpO2 of 89%. Blood at present shows an acute anaemia of 60g/L and a raised CRP. A CXR shows a left-sided lower lobe atelectasis, and a CTPA was negative for a PE.
Which of the following conditions could contribute to developing her current symptoms?
