A 19-year-old woman has been referred to the two-week wait dermatology clinic

A 19-year-old woman has been referred to the two-week wait dermatology clinic. She has had 3 basal cell carcinomas (BCCs) removed in the past, and her GP was concerned about a new lesion on her face that replicates her previous BCCs. On physical examination, you note a pearly white lesion on her face that appears highly suspicious for a BCC. She also explains that she has had a mandibular soft tissue infection that was recently treated with antibiotics. Given her clinical picture, you suspect Gorlin syndrome.
