A 22-year-old man is under investigation for gastroparesis. He describes steadily worsening symptoms of vomiting, bloating and early satiety in the last 5 months. He has previously undergone a gastroscopy, which demonstrated food in the stomach despite a prolonged fast. A CT abdomen and pelvis did not reveal any evidence of mechanical obstruction.
He has a past medical history of hereditary lymphoedema affecting his left leg, which causes chronic pain. He also frequently gets infections resulting in cellulitis, for which the microbiology team have advised erythromycin as prophylaxis. Additionally, he takes co-codamol, ibuprofen, amitriptyline, and domperidone. He has a history of anaphylaxis to penicillin. As part of his investigations, he undergoes a gastric emptying study and must omit some of his regular medications.
Which of the following medications is he permitted to take on the morning of his scan?
