A 27-year-old male presents with hypertension.

A 27-year-old male presents with hypertension. He also reports associated easy bruising, worsening acne and weight gain over the past nine months. Bloods showed a normal renin level, and no evidence of renal artery stenosis was noted. An elevated early morning cortisol level was noted with a positive low-dose and high-dose dexamethasone test.
