A 28-year-old male presents to their GP with worsening diplopia over 2 months

A 28-year-old male presents to their GP with worsening diplopia over 2 months, as well as ongoing reduced vision for which he is on his 4ᵗʰ pair of glasses in 2 years. He has a past medical history of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, for which he has regular physiotherapy. On examination, his diplopia persists when the left eye is occluded and is not apparent on occlusion of the right eye. There are no concerns on examination of extraocular motility.
