A 36-year-old male presents to rheumatology clinic with persistent pain, swelling and stiffness in his right knee and ankle. He had been diagnosed with reactive arthritis 6 weeks ago and has been taking regular paracetamol; however, this has failed to control his symptoms. He works as a bus driver and is now finding it increasingly difficult to carry out his daily tasks. He has a past medical history of diabetes and asthma, but is otherwise fit and well.
