A 40-year-old has presented after being found collapsed in the street. They smell of alcohol and appear dishevelled. There are signs of bruising and bleeding around their occiput. As you talk to them, they are mumbling words but are not answering your questions appropriately. After squeezing the nail bed of their thumb, they open their eyes and pull their hand away from you.
