A 43-year-old female had a recent upper respiratory tract infection over the past ten days.

A 43-year-old female had a recent upper respiratory tract infection over the past ten days. She reports persistent fevers, fatigue and breathlessness over the past five days. Her exercise tolerance is reduced, and she has orthopnoea. She denies any chest pain. Examination reveals bibasal crepitations. ECG reveals a sinus tachycardia. Blood showed a raised CRP and troponin count.
