A 45-year-old pregnant lady presents with a collapse whilst out shopping. There were no witnessed abnormal movements, and she recovered quickly though she complained of dull abdominal pain which moved to her back. On review in A&E, she is clinically well, with no chest pain, breathlessness, or haemoptysis; however, she complained of ongoing back pain with associated bilateral leg weakness and numbness. A CT head was normal, and subsequent MRI head and spine was also normal. Her symptoms remained present, but she felt they were manageable, and she was keen to be discharged.
