A 61-year-old lady with interstitial lung disease presents to Respiratory Clinic for her annual review. Her lung function tests completed 2 weeks ago showed static forced vital capacity compared to her results 1 year ago. She denies any worsening of her usual symptoms and denies any peripheral oedema. On examination, she has bilaterally equal chest expansion, bilateral basal inspiratory crepitations consistent with her known interstitial lung disease and very mild peripheral oedema to the ankles.
Investigations:
Chest x-ray: 0.8cm pneumothorax of the right lung.
