A patient with familial hypercholesterolaemia is commenced on 80mg atorvastatin.

A patient with familial hypercholesterolaemia is commenced on 80mg atorvastatin. Their LDL-C prior to starting treatment was 160 mg/dL. Repeat testing at three months shows a reduction to 120 mg/dL. They have not experienced any adverse effects from statin therapy. What is the next step in management?
