A randomised control trial is carried out to investigate the efficacy of a new medication in preventing COVID-19 pneumonitis when compared to dexamethasone. 500 patients were recruited into the study and divided equally between both arms. 30 patients who were given the new medication developed severe COVID pneumonitis, while 50 patients given dexamethasone developed severe COVID.
