You review an 84 year old woman who has been suffering from frequent episodes of urinary incontinence over the last 2 months. It occurs mainly when she suddenly needs to go to the toilet. On systems review, you note that she has had 3 falls in the last year and sustained a recent left neck of femur fracture. Her examination is unremarkable, and her urine dip is negative. She has been trialled on bladder retraining for 8 weeks with no improvement. She is starting to get frustrated as it impacts her quality of life, and she wants to try other alternatives.
