A 22-year-old woman presents with persistent headaches, worse in the mornings, and deteriorating vision in both eyes. Her past medical history includes asthma, for which she takes Ventolin PRN, and secondary amenorrhoea due to ‘diet and weight loss’. Her visual acuity is 6/9 in the left eye and 6/6 in the right eye. Fundus examination reveals normally pupillary reactions, a normal right optic disc and pale left optic disc.  Her MRI scan shows the following:

Bitemporal hemianopia
